Re: Project: Building a RoeTest
I have 4 unused 470µF 200V caps ( Nichicon LGR2D471MELA35 ) with 10mm pin spacing, bought to swap out in the hp 8592L. The originals are however fine and these are currently surplus to me. Yours if you want them. Thanks for your kind offer! Sadly, those are ones with 10mm spacing but I need 7.5mm. ...

Re: Project: Building a RoeTest
I'll watch this with interest. I suppose it would be indelicate to ask how much it costs. The parts from Mr. Weigl so far: around 770.- Euro (2nd PIC controller included which costs 10 Euro). For the other parts my estimation is somewhere in the range of 600 to 750 Euro, depending on the source and...

Rohde & Schwarz NGL 20 3-channel PSU
Hello, some time ago, this 3-channel PSU from Rohde & Schwarz appeared on my doorsteps. It is a NGL 20 from around 1974. Every channel is capable of doing 0 to 20V and 0 to 600mA. This is ideal for tinkering around with OpAmp circuits. It is heavy for its size, the case is made of 1mm steel so v...

Project: Building a RoeTest
Hello, this week a parcel from Mr. Weigl arrived here. It contained some special parts for his RoeTest device. Mr. Weigl has designed a nice and sophisticated vacuum tube tester with lots of capabilities to test and measure vacuum tubes. This is his project page with some assembly reports available:...

Re: Keithley 179 bench multimeter
I assume, this is the voltage reference (the red diode)? Looks like an 1N82XA type.
Edit:
I'm a bit confused. The subject is saying "Keithley 179" but then you are showing us a Keithley 175?

Seems, it is a 1N4577:

Re: Keithley 179 bench multimeter
There's a Keithley 175 on my local CL about 15 minutes away from a seller I've done business with before and he's legit. Price is good and supposedly works. Can't make up my mind to go for it or not. I have plenty of DMM's here but no Keithley's. Did I just say that? https://hudsonvalley.crai...
