My Christmas present for those that like cats, is a pointer to a story by a strange and wonderful author, Cordwainer Smith (i.e. PMA Linebarger).
"The Game of Rat and Dragon" https://www.fadedpage.com/showbook.php?pid=20191012
You used to get guides of the form "if you like {band, author} X, you might also like {band, author} Y, Z". For Cordwainer Smith, the "similar list" was empty. His style was derived from oriental traditions familiar from his youth. He negotiated gold loans to Sun Yat Sen and wrote the definitive book on psychological warfare. Definitely not your average background! Bell Lab's J R Pierce (who developed PCM with Claude Shannon and Barney Oliver) famously wrote the introduction to an anthology of his works.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Good Year 2024 to all of you. May the force be with you.
Because of the contemplativeness, I wanted to add this video.

Re: Merry Christmas everyone
Alright, what's the trick to getting a YouTube video to actually show up as opposed to being a link, since the 'YouTube' specific button obviously doesn't work (at least not from a tablet)??

Re: Merry Christmas everyone
You copy the URL from the URL bar of your browser, so it contains the "watch?v=" string like watch?v=l2oPio60mK4 in the video above. You can still edit out any of the tracking crap that comes after the actual alphanumeric video "filename".

Re: Merry Christmas everyone
So edit out the https:etc. before 'watch', then chop everything after the video ID? Cool, thanks for the tip!

No, sometimes you'll get tracking or referrer crap after the weird filename that YoobChoob assigns the video for the URL. Look for a question mark (?) or ampersand (&) after the filename as seen below. You still need the https:etc. to get it there.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fPPCPqDINEk&pp=ygUWa2lua3MgZmF0aGVyIGNocmlzdG1hcw%3D%3D
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fPPCPqDINEk is the part that is an actual URL.
In your case tho, it looks like the bigger problem was that your link was to the m.youtube mobile site. I didn't notice that before. I clicked on your link, then copied the entire URL from where it took me... but youtube referred me to the desktop site cuz desktop browser.
Cheers,
mnem
