You have successfully summoned a 19th order demon from the 337th layer of Hell. It bites off your torso then goes on a rampage, flattening downtown Cleveland before it is sent back to Hell by 4 teenagers.
mnem
Thank you for your heroic sacrifice; Cleveland needed it.

ya' know....its funny. just the other day at a retirees lunch we were yackin' about manifolds in spacetime and i derived these equations on the back of napkin to explain how gravity couples to matter.
but then lunch came and someone spilled the au jus from his french dip. used the napkin to clean up and never got to the bit about ricci tensors.

I saw a
bush like that in a Nantes' "Jardin des Plantes" in 1981 (yes, I've just checked the photo).
I've occasionally thought about it, since a few years later I started taking stereoscopic photos, and that is a subject that would be immensely improved when viewed in stereo. Sometimes flattie images just don't work well.
I wonder how big that bush is now, and what it's botanical name is. Anybody know?

Ah, poly-methyl chickenwire in its natural state.

I think poly-methyl razor wire is more accurate.
Here's my photo, from August 1981. Stereoscopic postos definitely enhance understanding.

Q: Why is calibration of equipment so expensive in Australia?
A: Because the units have to be shipped to New Calidonia.
