You need select a YT URL that includes the word 'watch' to have it show instead of just its URL.

Hey we don't have Catholic hospitals yet!
With nuns wandering the corridors. Give me vampires, zombies, ghouls, but not
nuns.

There's always the popular[1] Netflix show "Ninja Nuns With Guns". Oops - I mean "Warrior Nun". The first episode starts with the quadriplegic protagonist being resurrected with extreme prejudice
[1] i.e. renewed for second mini-season

I think we can go one better than that:

I think we can go one better than that:
The nearest Warrior Nun has to nudity is unclothed wings, and they come late in the series.
I must admit, somewhat sheepishly, to enjoying WN. Total tosh, but it manages to achieve "willing suspension of disbelief" - especially after a beer at night

Warrior Nuns could be shown on TV without edits, so no!

TV? What’s that?
Actually one thing that kept me amused recently was The Boys on Amazon. That is by far the most disgusting, inappropriate and hilarious thing on for years.

Copy it from your browser's URL bar, not the "R-Click->Copy video URL" from the hover dialog. Easy-peasy.
Just something
else YoobChoob manages to fuxxor up for
everybody...

To be fair it's not really youtube's fault if someone only parses one of their URL formats.

There's no
good reason for the two to be different. Just them being fuckheads and injecting tracking bunk.
mnem
actually, that's the correct response to YoobChoob in general.

Yeah but you're at the mercy of them if you want free video hosting so that's just the way it is.

A day's work in the dwagon-cave...
The mess had reached critical ass... I had to do something, even if it was wrong. I must've been down & up under that bench a dozen times, and up & down the basement steps a dozen times... def got my exercise in yesterday.
Not only do I now have all my scopes up off the floor and out where they can be used, I doubled my usable workbench (vs previous shithole dumpsty). It'll be nice to be able to keep the microscope set up, and the MetCal being convenient to flip the switch for tip changes will be nice. My big surge suppressor strip is a "smart" one and I ran low on outlets, so now everything on the new rack powers on when the 54621D is turned on.
Hopefully I'll actually get something productive happening soon...
mnem
yes, you may touch it...

What's the benefit to having a surge suppressor which communicates with the cloud? Oh. I see what you mean.
I've never heard of surges being a solvable problem over here. My use cases would be a lightning strike on the overhead cables leading to my house, or the electricity supply suddenly becoming 440V.

hey mnem
nice!
can see that time domain instruments are well represented.
but where are your frequency domain instruments?
seem like you at least have a micro SA that should be somewhere in easy reach.

v vs t, v vs f, but don't forget the third domain: modulation, i.e. frequency vs time.

you will get no argument from me.
mnem needs an hp53310a.
OR
an hp5371a, and a gift certificate for chiropractic care.

How about an HP 8901B and/or an HP8902A?
They are modulation domain but minus the CRT display.

Well, it was BNIB, has EMI/RFI filtering, a high "warranty" and Joule-rating, and cost it 7 dollars at the Thrift, so I bought it
"just in case I need it"; which happened aboot 2 weeks later, as is usually the case with such things. The fact that 6 of 12 outlets were "switched with the master device" was really secondary to the bang/buck of that equation, plus I honestly intended to hack the thing with a remote switch for
"bench power" misuse.
mnem
hey, it could still happen.

My TinySA is right there... in the drawer underneath the Protek counter and the 4-banger sig-gen on the left. I keep that and my NanoVNA in their protective prophylactics, cuz touch-screen and I'm a fucking klutz.
mnem
damn you... now you have me thinking of printing a safety-stand like I made for the DE-5000, etc...
