Here is another video of a metal R/C crane being made. Took the builder 180 days to complete.

I don't think there's much justification for complaint, except where it causes individuals to be repeatedly harassed.
No doubt such harassment will occur, just as black people driving expensive cars are stopped more frequently than white people.
Every "intelligence" system (automated or not) will fail. What matters is the response to such failures.

And in a similar vein...
Forbes: The DEA Quietly Turned Apple’s AirTag Into A Surveillance Tool
Just in case
anyone in here didn't think they were doing it already:
Forbes wrote: “The DEA investigation is another extension of AirTags being used for purposes that were presumably unintended by Apple.”
—Jerome Greco, supervising attorney at the Legal Aid Society
...Such mitigations (as done by Apple) made it an “unusual choice” for the DEA, noted Jerome Greco, a supervising attorney at the Legal Aid Society, specializing in digital forensics. But if something was technologically possible, “we should always assume that the police are going to take advantage of it.”

If yer sick of unfuckerizing every gawddamn folder view in Winblows like I am...
https://lesferch.github.io/WinSetView/README-more.html
A widget I'm playing with right now... a simple little GUI applet that generates and runs a PowerShell script to apply view settings globally to Win10/11. You know, like Winblows
used to make it easy to do.

Looks like Spot is getting smarter and more capable with every iteration; as it is deployed more and more, the people who work with it are able to see more and more potential uses. Thankfully, more and more of those remove a human from a dangerous task, too.
