• my stuff. Can't reasonably complain about that.
• some of my parents' nice stuff. Can't reasonably complain about that either, but did they have to have a 10-15 room house depending on what you count as a room.
• my daughter stuff - or rather the stuff she didn't want to take with her to a succession of rented flats. And I won't embarrass her by mentioning what she didn't want to take and didn't want to throw out.

She now has a house of her own (larger than mine!), which means I can present her with her stuff and let her decide what she doesn't want to keep. Ah, revenge is best served cold, and savoured.

Is it finished? Of course not; it never will be. But it will soon be useable.
Still to fit in: a half-working Tek 485 and a 7-decade KVD.
Still to evict: some scopes, decade resistors, RF power meters, and miscellaneous treasures.

The load is 100kohms, so the source has to be able to deliver 10mA at 1kV. Not sure whether an RCD could save me

Enabled by (mostly) evicting the sproglet; remaining stuff is books and valuables occupying my half landing, and her vintage van spares occupying my (asbestos cement) shed. That leaves only the stuff from my parent's house.

You know those TV programmes where relatives get a professional cleaner into a compulsive hoarder's house? I'm managing to stave that off, since I've recently rediscovered that most of my floors are carpeted.

So no, there isn't any more room for toys. (And the second binocular microscope I bought two days ago doesn't count. Honest)

Mine doesn't take up a lot of room fortunately. The problem is that she does make one hell of a mess in the kitchen
