Type of plug/socket

Does anyone recognise this type of plug/socket?

This one is on a flat pack of what I thought was 3 x AA cells all arranged in series as a flat pack that I thought might be good to replace the old AA batteries Ni-cad with.

Its almost a 18650 battery in length but slightly longer and only 1.2v per battery.

Google lens can be useful for that type of question.

I regard AI as being benign in such cases, since the responses have to be thought about before any action is taken. Obviously any retard who lets an AI agent order a replacement for them deserves what they receive in the post!

That's the problem; it's actually a 2-pin Molex socket, but all the Molex plugs I've seen come with the latching lip on the longer side.

I ordered 3 of them in the belief that they were AA cells in the pack, as it was stated that the voltage was 3.6V for the pack in series. All the others I saw clearly stated AAA cells used. All the other battery packs were rated at 12V, i.e., 3 x 18650 cells.

Anyway, it is my intention to now try and use these to power up some LED chains in places where it is impossible to run mains power to.

I need to get enough of the other half of these connectors so that I can fit them to these LEDs and also to a power supply in order to recharge them.

With the increased capacity, I should be able to run the LEDs for days straight without the need for a massive supply of AA batterys.

And so goggle lens is still performing just as badly; it can find 2 pole plugs with mating edge for the retaining clip on the long side.
