Glad to hear Motley has turned up. One of our previous cats got locked in a neighbour's garage for several days. He was very keen to be back and be reunited with his food bowl. Twenty years ago, I broke my back by stepping on a cat I don't have going down the stairs. It wriggled and I went flying. It stayed for about three days and my cats didn't seem in the least put out. I suppose it was just trying me on for size to see if it could get a better quality of food/fuss than its primary owners. I obviously didn't pass muster. Before that (when I inexplicably didn't have a cat of my own), for a few months, a handsome Burmese would turn up at about 23:00, demand a bit of fuss, settle down on bed to sleep, then depart in the morning. No food was involved.

Good that furry family was reunited with his people. :)

Dogs come when they are called. Cats take a message; maybe they'll get back to you. ;)

Up until a few days ago I never knew this video existed. It was taken 3 years ago when Harley and Motley first arrived at barely 6 weeks old. Harley is the feisty one smacking his brother in the head.

The names shown at the bottom are temporary.

A somewhat different pic this time; this is a pic of a pic of a cat; from the Cat Museum in Amsterdam.

And another; this is Alberto Giacomettis vision of a cat. There is something to it. The sass. From Fondation Maeght just west of Nice in the hills above Côte d'Azur.
