That's just proof that cats do, in fact, own everything.

Well, we had a home built espresso machine at our booth at Maker Faire in Hannover.

That one was effective, though no milk!

One day I'll visit the Maker Faire in Hannover, but 700km one way is a lot.

I went >600 miles (except that I flew), taking my voltage source to be calibrated by the PTB's HP3458 that they had calibrated[1] the day before :)

I enjoyed the time there, and might consider going again.

[1] self calibrated, as you would hope :)

If you go again, then I'll be there as well! :-)
And I'll bring a cake. Bratapfelkuchen.

More south? October 21st Sindelfingen, November 11th Salzburg.

But PTB will not be there, but probably August 24th/25th 2024 in Hannover.
Well, we should arrange for a meeting there. I am part of "Wellenkino", the PTBs neighbour booth for several years, with a focus on vintage test equipment. This year we had in example a staple of voltmeters with different display technologies. From needle meter (R&S URI), edge lit displays (DM2001 MK 2, DIGITAL MEASUREMENTS LTD.), nixies (HP 3450B and Meratronik V543) , panaplex (DATA PRECISION 3500) to LED (HP 3437A).

Ehhh... has a bit of a Spaceballs feel to it; Borscht-belt comedy delivered 10 years after anything even remotely timely... ;)

So... yeah, a perfect Dad Joke. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
