The seller took an offer. Was pleased. 2022 date code unit with original parts. Bit of a grubby case but that cleaned up - looks good as new now. No horrible findings inside - all fuses original, battery in date, no crunk.

There was a pornographic version of Flash Gordon called Flesh Gordon. It was made in 1974.
I never saw the film but the reviews were hilarious.

Australia's PM in the 1950s/early '60s was Sir Robert Menzies.
Bob once tried to get people to pronounce his name in the traditional way, as "Mingas".
This was regarded as pretentious by most Aussies, & he was promptly nicknamed "Ming the Merciless".
People don't learn, though, & there was another pollie from the same party with the surname "St.John", who wanted to be called "Singen".
He, too, was laughed to scorn.
